Slat Accent Wall, TV Mount & Sconces
A plain living-room wall turned into a wood slat accent wall with a wall-mounted TV and two modern sconces.
The request
The living room had a long, empty wall. The homeowner wanted a warm, modern feature wall that could also hold the TV and a pair of wall lights, so the whole room would come together around it.
Work completed
- Plan the layout: We laid out the slat panels so the vertical lines stay straight and even across the full width of the wall, and marked where the TV and sconces would go.
- Install the slat panels: The wood slat panels were fastened to the wall floor to ceiling, cut around outlets, and kept plumb from panel to panel.
- Mount the TV: The TV was hung on the wall mount at a comfortable viewing height, centered on the accent wall.
- Add the sconces: Two tall vertical sconces were mounted at matching heights on each side of the TV for balanced accent lighting.
Result
A finished floor-to-ceiling slat accent wall that makes the room feel custom, with the TV and lighting built into one clean design.
